Tralmer Construction Company was founded in 1987 by Robert "Kelly" Tralmer and recently celebrated its 30th year in the concrete business. The family's experience in concrete, however, dates back well over half a century.

 

In 1950, Kelly's father, Bob, began working in the concrete business. Soon after, he started up his own concrete company with partner, Roy Welk.  

Bob was a true concrete craftsman which led him to pursue his career in the field, supervising mid to larger scale projects for other concrete contractors. He was a 50+ year union concrete carpenter and was regarded as one of the best in the business. 

 

​As the second generation in the concrete industry, Kelly grew up learning the trade at a very early age. He worked in concrete throughout his high school and college years under the close direction of his father. Following college, he spent the next 4 years learning the finer points until he incorporated in 1987 as Tralmer Construction Company.
